Privacy Policy

SurgeryFreeSpine is a directory and educational resource. We designed it to work without collecting personal or health information about the people who use it. This page explains, plainly, what we do and don’t collect.

What we don’t collect

We do not ask for or store your name, contact information, health conditions, or anything that identifies you. There are no accounts for visitors, and we do not sit between you and any clinic — when you call or visit a clinic from this site, that interaction is directly between you and the clinic, governed by the clinic’s own privacy practices, not ours.

What we do collect

We record anonymous, aggregate usage signals: that a listing was viewed, or that someone tapped a “call,” “website,” or “directions” button on a listing, and when. These events are not linked to your identity, phone number, or the content of any call. We use them to understand which listings people find useful and to show clinics aggregate interest in their listing. Standard web server logs (such as IP addresses processed transiently for security and to deliver the site) may also exist at our hosting providers, as with virtually every website.

Cookies and analytics

We keep tracking minimal. We do not run advertising trackers and do not sell or share personal information for advertising. If we add a privacy-respecting analytics tool, it will measure page traffic in aggregate, not individuals.

Provider information

Listings are built from public, professional sources — primarily the federal NPI registry — supplemented by information providers submit when they claim their own listing. If you are a listed provider and believe information about your practice is inaccurate, contact us and we will correct or remove it.

Data security and breaches

We store no patient data, which is the strongest protection there is. For the limited data we do hold (anonymous engagement events and provider listing data), we use reputable infrastructure providers with access controls. If a security incident ever affects personal information we hold, we will provide notice as required by applicable law, including the Florida Information Protection Act.

Changes and contact

If our practices change — for example, if we later add an optional way to contact clinics through the site — we will update this policy and ask for any required consent at the point of collection, before anything is shared. Questions or correction requests: privacy@surgeryfreespine.com.
